The Alberta Veterinary Medical Association Bronze Collection In support of The Western Heritage Centre

Some years ago the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association had a limited number of Historical Veterinary Bronze Sculptures produced. The collection includes a series of three; sculpted by Peter Rice-Jones who we are very sorry to hear has recently passed away. Although total numbers were not produced, production was commissioned to a maximum of 250 of each sculpture. We have a small number of "Heartbeats" still available for sale. The cost is $2,500.00 plus tax.

"Mending Dreams" is an Equine Sculpture that includes a Veterinarian, a young girl and her injured foal.
- NONE AVAILABLE

"Special Delivery", a Bovine Sculpture, portrays a Veterinarian holding a newborn calf and includes an eager young boy reaching out to touch the calf.
- NONE AVAILABLE

"Heartbeats" is a Small Animal Sculpture with a Veterinarian, a young girl and a litter of puppies.
- SMALL NUMBER AVAILABLE

The Alberta Veterinary Medical Association Bronze Series was inspired by the historical contributions of Veterinarians to the colorful history of the West. The Western Heritage Centre is the only educational and interpretive centre dedicated to the life and events of the west. Veterinarians are featured among the contributors to the Centre.
